The roof must be accessible in a safe and easy manner. This means that access routes are planned that are ergonomically satisfactory and which prevent or limit falls.
Access to the roof should be gained from inside the premises by means of an access hatch in most cases. At access heights with façade heights above 8 metres, this is the only alternative.
Ground ladder (loose ladder) with fixed slipguard.
Ground ladders can be used at an access height of 5 metres or lower.
